Celebrating All Things Italian… The prestigious National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) hosted a luncheon at Joe Busalacchi’s newest restaurant in Hillcrest, A Modo Mio, for prominent members of San Diego’s Italian American Community. The Sicilian Festival organizers were on hand to represent the Festival, and its cultural contributions, to the NIAF representatives. NIAF kindly sponsored the Cultural Pavilion at the May 2011 Festival, and we hope to have them back in 2012....
