Italian for Little Ones (3 and under)

This "parent & me" class combines arts and crafts, singing, movement, story time, and games to encourage a love for the language from a very young age.

Young Explorers (4 - 7)

This is a child-only class that focuses on building vocabulary and conversational skills through games, arts & crafts, stories, songs, and imaginative play.

Italian in Action (8 - 12)

Organized around theme-based units, songs, interactive exercises, and games, this course emphasizes communicative abilities and vocabulary building as well as listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, and basic grammar skills.

Conversation, Beginning (adult/teen)

Organized around theme-based units and authentic materials, this course emphasizes communicative abilities and vocabulary building, as well as listening, reading, pronunciation, and grammar skills. Aspects of contemporary Italian life and culture are introduced through interactive exercises.

Registration: $240 w/textbook and CD

Conversation, Intermediate (adult/teen)

Organized around theme-based units and authentic materials, this course emphasizes communicative abilities and vocabulary building, as well as listening, reading, pronunciation, and grammar skills. Aspects of contemporary Italian life and culture are introduced through interactive exercises. This course reviews grammar, expands vocabulary, and further develops conversational, reading, writing, and grammar skills.

Learn Italian with Convivio through the Italian School. Italian language courses are available for children and adults! Classes are held in beautiful downtown La Jolla. Courses are taught by native Italian speakers. Classes have a limit of 15 students to maximize learning potential and interaction. We are also offering our new afterschool program for children at Washington Elementary School in Little Italy.
